About Our Research Cell
The Research Cell at Abasaheb Kakade College of Pharmacy was established with the vision to promote scientific investigation and pharmaceutical research among students and faculty. The cell serves as the nucleus of all research-related activities within the institution.
We encourage students and faculty to engage in research that creates meaningful contributions to pharmaceutical science, healthcare, and the community at large. Our research encompasses areas ranging from traditional herbal medicines to modern drug delivery systems.

A study on novel sustained-release formulations of Metformin HCl for improved bioavailability and patient compliance in type-2 diabetes management.
A unique herbal formulation comprising standardized extracts of Momordica charantia and Gymnema sylvestre for controlling blood sugar levels.
Our faculty and students presented 5 research papers at the prestigious national conference organized by the Indian Pharmaceutical Association.
An intensive FDP covering advanced HPLC, FTIR, NMR and mass spectrometry techniques for pharmaceutical analysis. 12 faculty members participated.
A practical workshop covering TLC, HPTLC, and microscopic analysis of crude drug samples. 60 students participated under expert guidance.
Provided analytical testing and quality control consultancy for a local pharmaceutical manufacturer for their product standardization and regulatory submission.
